Freestyle Canada Announces Partnership with Loop Division as Official Clothing Sponsor for National Aerial and Mogul Teams

Vancouver, BC – [30 October 2024]: Freestyle Canada is thrilled to announce a new partnership with Loop Division, an emerging Canadian outerwear brand, as the official clothing sponsor for the Canadian National Mogul and Aerial Teams. This collaboration will see Loop Division outfitting Canada’s top mogul and aerial athletes with high tech, innovative, and sustainable apparel through to the Milano Cortina 2026 Olympic Winter Games. Both Loop Division and Freestyle Canada share a strong Canadian identity, promoting national pride through this partnership.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Loop Division into the Freestyle Canada family,” said Peter Judge, CEO of Freestyle Canada. “Their dedication to innovation, sustainability, and Canadian craftsmanship makes them the perfect fit for our national mogul and aerial teams. Our athletes are constantly pushing the limits of what’s possible, and Loop Division’s gear will help them do just that.”

Key highlights of this Canadian collaboration include the creation of custom-designed high-performance gear tailored to the unique needs of mogul and aerial athletes. Known for its eco-friendly and durable outerwear, Loop Division’s products combine cutting edge materials with a strong focus on environmental sustainability. The company’s commitment to reducing its environmental footprint aligns with Freestyle Canada’s vision of promoting sustainability both on and off the slopes.

“Loop Division was born out of this love for the outdoors and a deep responsibility to protect it,” said Grace Wu, Founder of Loop Division. “My goal has always been to create high-performance, stylish gear that doesn’t sacrifice sustainability. We have come a long way, and it’s amazing to announce such an exciting partnership with Freestyle Canada. These athletes are not just champions in their sport, but also icons of perseverance and grit—qualities that mirror our values at Loop Division.”

Marion Thénault, Freestyle Canada’s top female aerialist and sustainability advocate, echoed this sentiment: “It is encouraging to have a team clothing sponsor that values sustainability as it aligns with the efforts I am making, and the direction winter sports is heading.”
